Dear Church, As we celebrate this Easter period together, a time of feasting and celebration, it is with great joy that we explore encounters that people had with the risen Jesus. This coming week we explore John 21 and Jesus meeting the disciples on the beach.
Attached are the sermon notes and slides from last Sunday. Use them as a review and meditation as you see fit. They are only notes so sometimes the spelling, gramma and sentence structure is less than perfect.
Also attached is the roster for this term. In addition to the roster we need to be thinking about the long term health of our church. Frankly it is an imperative that we think about how to spread the load. There are many positions that need to be filled with capable (not perfect) people who would play a role in the broader leadership of the church. Treasurer, secretary, admin roles, pastoral care and eldership are all positions that need to be filled. I will aim to chat with people over the coming weeks but if you think you have something to offer then please don’t hesitate to initiate the conversation.
Let us continue to strive to follow the way of Jesus in everything we do and say and you we are as individuals and a group.
