Hi Church, First of all a big thanks to Dave for reminding us that we become like the things we worship: resemble what we revere. Although this is true in the negative it should also be a huge encouragement for us to continue to strive to become more like Jesus, hold him firmly in our sight and press on toward him.
This is what spiritual practices are supposed to be all about. shaping our lives around the presence and direction of the Holy Spirit.
A reminder that there are a number of events this weekend. The first is the Luke Drama Saturday 19th 6:30pm and Sunday 20th 4pm at St James Lutheran College Hall. The second is our members meeting 11:15am Sunday 20th July.
