Dear Church, On Sunday 5th I paddled with 3 senior Boys’ Brigaders down the Burnett River. This was a beautiful time on a surprisingly beautiful river. God revealed himself in nature and as we spent time together and with Him. [image: image.png]

We had a lovely time with the YWAM team on Sunday. The enthusiasm and energy of young people! But for each of them it was a first time leading or sharing and it was great to provide a safe place to share.
Please continue to pray as the “Working Group” explore options for the church. We are waiting on an independent valuation from the property team at Churches of Christ. After that we will be in a better position to assess offers and options.

This term I would love us to be considering supporting the orphanage and and housing for school boarders. They currently do not have enough beds. Some of you gave money for me to invest while in Africa. I gave $600 and these are the beds purchased. [image: beds.jpg] We need to raise another $600. $100 has already been donated. Please be imaginative in how you may raise funds and ask the Lord for his guidance in what to give.
While I was Mombassa I used the other portion of money given to purchase Sunbird Junior School 2 laptops. The school has not had laptops that students could access previously and this is an essential part of the curriculum. [image: laptops.jpg]
Please remember that we love because we have first been loved. In our devotions this morning Jackie and I were reminded that the Fear of the Lord is more about vision than trembling; identity, reverence and awe. The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom. So let us not grow tired of doing good.
