Dear Church, Attached are the sermon notes and slides. Revelation 4-8:1. The seven seals. I know some people are finding the content a little heavy. Please hang in as the book unfolds the bigger story it is telling becomes clearer with the telling.
The book of Revelation is a 1st Century revelation of Jesus, against the Roman Empire, to the church(es), for the purpose of worship, encouragement and hope.
Sunday just gone had lots of worship. This coming sunday, chapters 8-11 is a great encouragement. Hope will come soon.
-* Protest Bells: *This Sunday at 11am before morning tea we will place the speakers outside and ring the (electronic) bells. Each ring is a memorial to someone killed this year in an act of domestic and family violence. We will be joining churches across Hervey Bay and Maryborough in doing this.
– *Hampers for Hope*: We are again participating in gathering nonperishable foods and general home supplies for families in need and families who are carers. Please bring them 27 Neils Street by December 7th.
*Angel Tree*: presents for children of prisoners. More details to follow.
*John Drama*: 6:30pm Friday and Saturday nights Hervey Bay Baptist Church.
*Christmas Carols*: Saturday 14th December Seafront Oval.
*Fairhaven Carolling*: Afternoon of Dec. 17th
*Christmas Day: *8am Service; 4pm Baptism; Dinner for anyone who wants to hang out afterwards.
*5th Sunday Lunch: *29th Dec.
