*Events* Some special events to take note of: 1. This Sunday is 5th Sunday lunch. Bring something to share for lunch at 12pm. No 9:30am Service. 2. Hervey Bay Christmas Carols Saturday 13th Dec. 6pm. 3. Roving Carols Fairhaven Aged Care 23rd Dec.
I will ask on Sunday if you would prefer a Christmas Eve or Christmas Day service. ????
*Appeals* Also we have several appeals running concurrently. 1. Hampers of Hope: Consider bringing some grocery or christmas items that can be donated to Children Youth and Families for the purpose of making up hampers for Families who are Carers (foster care). Alternately you can donate money into our account and label it Hampers of Hope. 2. Beds: we still need about $1000 but we plan to hold a bake sale at Bunnings on the 20th Dec. I invite you to bake up lots!
*Brigades* Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade has been a big part of discipling young people at Hervey Bay Church of Christ over the last 6 years. Unfortunately we will not be able to continue with this ministry in 2026. Maybe we will be able to pick it up again in the future. As it is it seems that God is preparing me for whatever he brings next.
