Disciples cross 23

Sermons and Slides

Dear Church, No Sermons this week. The small number of us who gathered on Sunday had a delightful lunch, time of fellowship and prayer.
5th Sunday lunches are an important part of the rhythm of the church. They are an alternative form of fellowship and worship. We take communion; pray and spend extended time together in conversation. Using our disciples cross oneness through fellowship is actually really important.

To know is to love. We can’t grow in our “one another” (love one another; serve one another; encourage one another; pray for one another; submit to one another) without fellowship that builds trust and trust connectedness we will never be able to love and serve one another let alone submit. A challenge
This is the first week of advent. Advent is a time in the religious calendar that is dedicated to looking forward to the coming of Christ; both his first and second. This first week of Advent is themed HOPE. We hope, expectantly waiting on the LORD for His coming and the consummation of God’s Kingdom on Earth. Below is a link to a Bible Project video.

Also attached is an Advent reflection prepared by our friend Julie Baldwin. You can download it but we also have numerous paper copies printed to collect on Sunday.
Until Sunday, be blessed,
