Jackie and Andrew are taking a few day off to rest from Wednesday to Saturday morning heading over to King Fisher Bay.
Hervey Bay Carols are Saturday night. Should be a good night out. Organised by the Hervey Bay Minister’s Association this is the single biggest event on the Hervey Bay Calendar.
On 20th Dec we will hold a Bake Sale at Bunnings to raise money for beds for Orphans at Amazing Grace Orphanage and Boarding House. Be thinking about what you might bake up.
Join us to go Caroling at Fairhaven Residential Aged Care 5pm 23rd December.
We will not hold a Christmas Day service but a special Christmas Eve Service at 6pm. Join us in the day and finish in time to looking at Christmas Lights.
Also attached are the sermon slides from Sunday. Sunday was all about Peace. Advent is a time to recognise our deep longing for the coming of Jesus and the consummation of the Kingdom of God.
Pray for those who are sick and injured. I seem to have an infection and Neil Cartmell a bad back.
