We at Hervey Bay Church of Christ have three life goals: 1. Be with Jesus 2. Become like Jesus 3. Do the things that Jesus did.
Through various spiritual practices we spend time with Jesus. When you spend time with someone you begin to become like them. This journey is an internal transformation from brokenness to wholeness, a healing of mind and emotions. A Christlikeness in values, thinking and identity. This internal Jesuslike reformation is then lived out with others. Some of these may include: Generosity; prayer; sharing the good news; heal the sick; cast out demons; eat and drink with people far from God; do justice; peacemaking; prophesying; standing up against religious and political corruption. That is to love one another.
