I am pleased to announce that The Rock Church, partnering with Pastor Andrew @ the Church of Christ Hervey Bay, is hosting a GOSPEL OUTREACH CONCERT with Freda Mitchell.
Freda is a Soul Gospel recording artist from the USA. She is bringing a small team of 4 people, including a professional keyboardist, drummer.
Freda would like to also train a small Choir to accompany the band for the GOSPEL OUTREACH CONCERT.
So, we are asking *if there are any singers out there who would like join the Outreach Choir,* for ONE or BOTH nights, able to attend early at Church of Christ for training between 3-5pm. Lana Tassotti would like to put together a church directory for us. She will start by taking people’s photographs over the coming Sundays. This will be a document available to church members and adehants. Make yourself known to Lana.
I give big thanks to those who donated to the ‘beds’ appeal. Having provided $600 that people had given for this cause while there we have since raised $1000. We need a further $1800 to see every child in the orphanage/boarding house with their own bed. Please consider how you are led to help.
Attached are the slides and notes from Sunday and the current roster. I pray that they are a blessing and that you continue to press into Jesus.
