Attached are slides and sermon notes from the past two weeks. It was great to participate in Churches of Christ Sunday with others from around the State and continue our journey through selected reading of Luke.
This week we read and explore: Luke 13:10-17. What is the invitation or challenge in this passage?
Remember August 31st is a 5th Sunday Lunch with no 9:30am Service. These are always great times of fellowship.
Please continue to pray for the church as we discern future direction. The working group continues to meet and plan. In due course we will bring updates and recommendations back to the church membership for consideration. What we do know is that we serve a God of incredible creativity and provision. I head to Africa on August 31st and will be gone for two weeks. Paul Featherstone will share with us on the 7th September and Dave Woodward on the 14th. I look forward to what they have to share. If you want me to carry something for you to Africa please see me in advance.
